My work riffs on my love of all things heavy, groteqsue and vibrant, celebrating life through the medieval, the retro and the strange. This is low-brow, pop surrealist artwork that is ideal for illustration, comic books and beer labels.

 

At school I would draw during lessons, covering my journals in images of Simpsons characters, Warhammer orcs, and zombies, trying to make them look as messed up as possible. After university, the themes of kitchen-work, nightlife, and alternative culture found their way into the art.

 

These works are drawn using procreate, but they are rich in symbolism and hyper detailed. I am inspired by religious, tribal and renaissance art. I am currently seeking commissions, and representation with illustration agencies.
