I make Instagram reels focusing on my journey as an artist. 

 

I watch entirely too many reels and decided that it was time for me to contribute to the emerging culture. I enjoy any story of personal progress but also knew that reels are the way to bring traffic into your Instagram page. 

 

The process was simple: film footage (3-10 second clips) each day and then thread them together capturing the most interesting moments. Sometimes I had a theme in mind for the videos, but sometimes a narrative emerged by itself. I was surprised by how engaged in life I felt when I was filming it all day. It was a way to transmute life directly into art. 

 

Ultimately, the reels did well, growing my account by 14% and hopefully inspiring some people along the way. I even occasionally get stopped by people who are avid viewers.
